Loop the Loop

A biographical musical about Lincoln Beachey, the most famous American you’ve never heard of. In the early 20th century, one in every five Americans had seen the daredevil aviator fly. They showed up in droves to watch him take to the skies, performing the most stomach-churning, gravity defying feats of his own invention: The Dip of Death, the Figure Eight, the Vertical Drop. He dive-bombed both the White House and the US Capitol to prove that the security of the nation’s most austere institutions had not yet caught up to the aviation age. Yet, after numerous aspiring young aviators lost their lives attempting to emulate his maneuvers, Beachey hung up his aviator’s goggles… until a daring pilot on the other side of the world managed to pull off the trick that had eluded Beachey his entire career: the Loop the Loop. Despite his reservations, he decides to come out of retirement for one last fateful daredevil flight over San Francisco Bay…
