Basilisk

A Trump era political thriller, part House of Cards, part Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

When authoritarianism begins to creep unchecked across the American political system, the Republican Speaker of the House and a young, progressive Senator must work together to try to avert democracy’s collapse. As the sprawling infiltration at every level of government begins to constrict around the two women, with universities, corporations, and political foes and allies alike caving to the tide of authoritarianism, they both face an impossible decision: resist at the risk of their own lives or capitulate to survive.
